Food Allergies – FDA Approves New Treatment for Anaphylaxis

As a parent managing multiple food allergies in our household, I’m pleased to see that the FDA has approved a new and innovative Epinephrine nasal spray option. Neffy offers ease of administration and eliminates the fear of needles, two factors that can delay the delivery of this life-saving medication — a win for both patients and caregivers. 

In studies, epinephrine blood concentrations were found to be comparable between the EpiPen auto injector and the new Neffy nasal spray delivery device. Looking forward to gaining better insights into its effectiveness as real-world evidence is generated.
